How To Spin Your Content In An Effective Manner

Today we’re going to be covering how to rewrite your articles effectively (as well as how keywords are starting to be looked at in the search engines), but before we go into that, I want to share with you a case study from the boys over at PLRPro from one of their clients.

Here it is…

Case Study: Chris Marshall

Chris Marshall has been online for about the last 3 ½ years.

He started out and went straight into setting up an agency that helped their clients with the Pay Per Click and online marketing campaigns.

Having setup a substantial business there, he felt it was time to diversify and open up a new stream of income…

In comes Adsense.

Before Chris joined PLRPro, he was doing quite well in adsense compared to most average users. He went from doing about $500 per month with just 15-20 sites, to spring boarding to $2000 per month and 170 sites, in just 4 short months.

That means he’s quadrupled his income each month, not bad?

But, he’s smart, he takes what we give him, and expands on it, and keeps building the sites so that they are growing over time.

This is one of the crucial keys to success, and that is to grow overtime, not just to build and move onto the next one (although you can do that).

Now, is $2,000 a lot? Well that depends on your perspective, if you’re currently earning $25,000 a year, then yeah, sure, you’ve just replaced your income. But if you read or watch some of these videos of the guys and girls doing $20,000, $30,000 or $100,000 a month, it might not seem like much. But how many people are there out there making that level of money in Adsense? Not a lot, they are in the top .001% of income earners.

The reality is, there is no quick fix to this game, you need to take a long term approach.

I wanted to ask Chris this one question:

What would you say to someone who was considering joining plrpro?

And this is his response…

“I think the guidance from me would be that you get regular content very cost effectively, if you’ don’t expect miracles and have time to work on building sites it’s a great boost to get moving…

…Just make sure you keep up with the packs – i.e. don’t put them to one side and think “I’ll sort them later” find something creative to do with them…

Don’t just cut and paste them into the existing sites, find a way to spin Your content, add your own touch to them, whatever that may be.”

Chris is spot on here, it’s the perfect springboard for you to get moving with your content sites, be they for Adsense, affiliates, or your own products.

I’d have to say, Chris is doing really well for just having started using PLR material for 4 months!

Now, on with how to spin your content and the keywords (sorry this is quite a long one today!)

One of the biggest problems that people have when they get their articles, is that they don’t know how to rewrite their articles.

Unfortunately most people overcomplicate the issue, for some reason it seems to hard for whatever reason, or you might even get what is called ‘writers block’… basically means that you can sit there for hours and hours and not write a single thing.

It’s not really that hard, all you need to do is look at the article you are rewriting, break it down and then spin your content with your own ideas and creativity.

As the saying goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”… you need to break the article down into bite sized chunks so that you can digest it effectively.

The first strategy you can use, is to look at each paragraph individually, read it a few times (or if you’re good, once) and then rewrite it in your own words, this is what I do, and is the most common method to rewriting, and works very effectively.

All you then do, is once you’ve rewritten the first paragraph, you can move to the second, third, fourth etc. until it’s finished, or you can rewrite only a portion of it.

The second way you can do it, is to do a mind map on what is covered in the article, on the major points, and then spin your content about each of the major points.

Mind maps are simple to learn, just do a Google search if you don’t know what I mean, but they are fantastic for keeping ideas, taking notes… and rewriting articles.

So, that is the most basic way to rewrite articles and spin your content, it’s not fancy, it’s not out of this world stuff, it’s basic, and it works.

As a side note, you can also use services out there that will compare an article side by side, and tell you what % they are different.

This is super handy, and makes it extremely fast.

The other major point we wanted to cover today, was that of the keywords themselves in the article.

Gone are the days where you used to have to use the keyword exactly as it is searched for.

The search engines are getting smarter, so when you are rewriting your articles and spinning your content, you can make the keywords within a ‘phrase’ e.g. dog training basics, can become ‘basics of dog training’ or ‘the basic premise for training dogs’ etc.
